Mom says adoption day is just around the corner for all of the babies here at the rattery. All of the mother's have weaned their little ones, and now they are back in the big cage with the rest of us. Some of the moms were very happy to get away from the needy little ones, but a few, like Alice and Zombie, look a little sad. I can remember how hard it was to say goodbye to my babies when they would leave to find their new families, but I know my Humom would only let them go to loving homes. Also, since Humom keeps some of the babies, we still get to watch them grow up!
Mom has been sewing a lot lately. I hope that means we are getting new hammocks and things in our cages. My friends and I have destroyed the current ones to shreds. It feels so comforting on my jaws and teeth to chew through all of those lovely fabrics! One of mom's friends got her a new cage decoration and it looked really cool! I think she is going to put it in the boy's cage. So unfair! Maybe she will make us girls one just like it. Well, it's time for me to take a nap. I send my love out to all of my babies from the past and I hope they are happy.
